“Pit furnace” describes a structure, not a universal heating, circulation, sealing, lid, control or acceptance arrangement. Diameter and depth alone rarely support a complete quotation.
Suneng pit-furnace documents assign tooling design to the equipment supplier and fabrication to the buyer, and request crane and building-space information. An enquiry therefore needs workpiece and tooling weights, the lifting route and the design/fabrication split, not just diameter and depth. If a quotation says tooling is buyer-supplied, ask who provides the drawings and interface information before comparing complete scope.
Eight enquiry inputs
- Structural suitability: orientation, fixtures, distortion concerns, batch and alternative furnace types.
- Effective zone: usable diameter/depth, combined workpiece/fixture envelope and clearances.
- Loading/lifting: individual and batch weights, fixtures, crane, clear height, routes and foundations.
- Atmosphere/sealing: process environment, medium connections, seals, safety and responsibilities.
- Circulation/thermal design: process duty, loading distribution and thermal-system scope.
- Lid/safety: lifting, movement, limits, exclusion area and site cooperation.
- Controls/acceptance: energy, zones, sensing, records, protection, tests and criteria.
- Supply/service: equipment, installation, commissioning, training, documents, spares and commercial terms.

Assess the structure before the price
Pit arrangements are often considered for workpieces suited to vertical loading. Final selection also depends on grade, length and diameter, weight, fixtures, batches, transfer, lifting and the building. Compare alternatives if horizontal support is better or safe lifting and sufficient height are unavailable.
Distinguish chamber dimensions from the agreed effective zone. Mark each item as included, optional, buyer-supplied or unconfirmed. A total price alone cannot compare proposals with different scopes.
Suneng can clarify pit-furnace designs, supply and quotations from agreed workpiece/process, effective zone, loading/lifting, atmosphere, circulation, records, interfaces and acceptance. This general method does not guarantee price, suitability, configuration, performance, energy use, product quality, schedule or service results. The confirmed project documents and contract govern the offer.
