Aluminum Solution-treatment & Aging Line | Inquiry Checklist

Provide known information first; discuss unknowns during design.

1. Material and loading
Grade, product form, incoming/target condition, dimensions and wall thickness, net workpiece and rack masses.

2. Products and specifications
Choose applicable requirements separately for castings, wrought-aluminum parts and raw materials. State the contracted edition and inspection items.

3. Solution-treatment schedule
Temperature range, soaking conditions, workpiece measurement positions and representative loads. Equipment limits do not replace material-process requirements.

4. Transfer timing
Define the timing start/end, allowed delay, immersion criterion and records according to the adopted specification.

5. Quenching conditions
Medium and use conditions, bath temperature, agitation, volume, heat exchange and allowable distortion. Check concentration and other requirements separately for polymer media.

6. Aging and interfaces
Post-quench storage temperature/time, necessary intermediate operations, artificial-aging schedule and cooling requirements.

7. Equipment and site
Loading envelope, building clearance, foundations, transfer method, energy/media interfaces and maintenance space.

8. Acceptance and records
Temperature checks, representative-load trials, product sampling/assessment, abnormal-batch handling and record retention.
